1- What makes Matter of Space different from other interior designers in Gurgaon?
Most studios separate design from execution. We don’t. The same team that designs your space manages its delivery, which means the design intent is never lost in translation. We also work with fixed budgets and milestone-based timelines agreed at the start, so there are no last-minute surprises.
2- Do you work on apartments as well as independent houses?
Absolutely. We work across all residential typologies, studio apartments, builder flats, penthouses, independent floors, and bungalows. The scale of the project changes; the standard of care we bring to it doesn’t.
3- How long does a typical residential interior project take?
A compact apartment of 1,000-1,500 sq ft typically takes 10-14 weeks from design sign-off to handover. Larger homes of 3,000+ sq ft generally require 18-28 weeks depending on custom elements and structural changes. We provide a detailed milestone plan before execution begins, and we stick to it.
4- What is your approach to working with a client’s budget?
We treat your budget as a fixed constraint, not a starting point for negotiation. During the design phase, every material, furniture piece, and finish is costed against your confirmed budget. Substitutions are offered before decisions are made, never after the fact. Transparent cost tracking is shared throughout the project.
5- Can I see what my home will look like before work begins?
Yes. Every project includes full 3D visualisations of all key areas before execution starts. You will walk through your future home digitally, review every finish, and have the opportunity to refine it before a single nail is driven.
6- Do you offer services beyond Gurgaon?
While we are based in Gurgaon and do most of our residential work across the Delhi NCR — Gurgaon, South Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, we do select projects in other cities for the right brief. Please reach out and we will be happy to discuss.
