At Matter of Space, we’ve been transforming 2BHKs across Gurgaon for over a decade, not with cookie-cutter
templates, but with interiors crafted around your lifestyle, your quirks, and your budget. We pick every
material with intention, and deliver over on time, without excuses.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth about most 2BHK interiors in Gurgaon – they’re designed to look
finished, not to feel lived-in. You get a standard modular kitchen in white, wardrobes in the
same beige laminate as ten other flats in the same building, a false ceiling that adds nothing,
and furniture that arrived in a truck and got pushed against walls.
When you work with Matter of Space, the first thing we do is understand how you actually use
your home. This philosophy is what separates a 2BHK that feels personal from one that just looks
done.
Our design consultancy for 2BHK interior design in Gurgaon covers:
The result is a design you’ve actually seen, approved, and fallen in love with before a single
cabinet goes up.
It’s easier to design 3D renders today, but showing up on Day 45 with a finished home that
matches those renders is what separates studios from service providers.
Most 2BHK homeowners in Gurgaon have at least one horror story. A carpenter who disappeared
mid-project. A contractor who quoted low and billed high. Materials that arrived wrong twice. A
project of five months was completed in sixty days and had to be fixed after hand-over.
We are a full turnkey design outfit at Matter of Space, so when you put your seal on the design
you give us the keys and kick back. We deal with all of those further on:
When we make a commitment of 60 days, we do so. More than half a thousand homeowners in Gurgaon have
done so.
We come to visit your place, measure everything carefully, learn about the motion of light and
air streams and have a deep-sea interview with you and your family regarding their ways of life.
Floor plan, zoning, 3D illustrations and mood boards in detail. You watch your 2BHK on a screen
till we even lay your hand on a single wall.
Our collection of material combines balance between aesthetics, durability, and cost, with
laminates and hardware, tile, fabric, and lighting fixtures.
On-site project management, quality cheques at all the levels, and a well-organised snag list
prior to handover.
Challenge: A 2BHK of 1,100 sq ft of a family of four, two adults and two school going
children of whom the family always appeared cluttered. The children had a half-bedroom,
half-study and chaotic room. The family living room also served weekend work stations, play
areas and the TV lounge. There was no pantry storage in the kitchen. The family needed function
above everything, with a budget of ₹9 lakh.
Our Approach: The children’s bedroom was customised to have bunk-bed furniture topped with
study stations on each side and offered children maximum privacy in the least space. The problem
of work-play overlap was solved with a pull-out sofa in the living room and a wall-mounted
foldable desk next to the balcony door to create a light-filled work corner with minimal noise.
A high pull-out pantry unit was integrated into an unused corner of the kitchen. To incorporate
the wardrobes of two persons in the master bedroom, the wardrobe was redone with a split in it,
with a hanging wardrobe on one side and a wardrobe of shelves and drawers on the other, without
a walk-in.
Outcome: Delivered in 63 working days. Total cost: ₹8.9 lakh. The family reported the home
felt twice as spacious post-execution. Zero change orders during construction, design was
finalised in full before work began.
